Writing

We are going to select a seed idea (a small moment) from our writing journals and develop the story into a publishable writing piece during the course of the week.

Science

We will develop an understanding of each of the Earth’s major systems (geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and the biosphere).

Math

We will solve word problems involving division of whole numbers leading to answers in the form of fractions to explain what part of a whole is left over. We will be taking a Unit 1 assessment at the end of the week.

Reading

We will continue to read nonfiction text and build our skills with determining main ideas and key details. We will also have continue to select important quotes and paraphrase them into our own words.
